25 ChatGPT Images 2.0 Prompts I Tried and Loved

ChatGPT just rolled out their new image model called Images 2.0, and honestly, it’s a big step up from whatever they had before. I’ve been testing it for a couple of days with all kinds of prompts, and the results genuinely surprised me.

Up until now, I thought Google Gemini’s Nano Banana model was the best thing going for image generation. I’m changing my mind. ChatGPT Images 2.0 feels sharper, more cinematic, and better at handling a wide range of styles, from realistic photography to watercolor illustrations to cartoons.

Below are 25 prompts I actually ran through the model. You can copy them directly and try them yourself. Just open ChatGPT, pick the image option, and paste any of these in.

Cozy Café Portrait

A simple portrait setup with nice window light. ChatGPT handled the shallow depth of field really well.

Street Food Vendor at Night

This one came out with genuine photojournalistic grit. The smoke and tungsten glow looked real.

Golden Retriever in a Wheat Field

Motion blur on the legs with sharp focus on the face. The dust particles in the air added a lot.

Astronaut on Mars

Pure cinematic mood. The teal and orange grading gave it a proper sci-fi movie feel.

1940s Noir Detective

Black and white, heavy shadows, rolling fog. This prompt nailed the old film look.

Coffee Brand Logo

Clean vector style with just two colors. Could pass for a real brand identity.

The results across all 25 prompts were seriously impressive. Realistic photos, cinematic shots, watercolor illustrations, cartoons, product photography, typography work, it handled all of it well. ChatGPT Images 2.0 has officially pulled ahead of Nano Banana in my book, at least for now.
