How I Created these PFPs
Creating these Christmas profile pictures was a fun project for me. I used Midjourney to bring my holiday ideas to life. And let me tell you – getting that perfect blend of cute and festive wasn’t as simple as I first thought!
The most important thing I learned? Personalization made all the difference. My first attempts without using Midjourney’s personalization feature gave me pictures that were nice but not quite what I wanted.
Once I turned on personalization, the results were exactly the kind of adorable I was aiming for – those big cute eyes and sweet expressions that make you go “aww!”
I made sure to use a 1:1 aspect ratio for all the images. This means they’re perfect squares, which works great for profile pictures on Instagram, Twitter, Discord, or pretty much any social media platform. No awkward cropping needed!
For each picture, I wrote specific prompts that included details like:
- The main character (like a penguin or snowman)
- What they’re wearing (Santa hats, scarves, sweaters)
- The background (snowy scenes, twinkling lights)
- The overall mood (warm, cozy, festive)
A quick tip if you want to try this yourself: Be really specific in your prompts. Instead of just saying “cute penguin,” I wrote “Smiling penguin with christmas cap and a Christmas scarf, holding a tiny candy cane.” The more details, the better the results!
